Joe Rogan still thinks that Jon Jones is a great person.
Jones (26-1 MMA, 20-1 UFC) was the UFC light heavyweight champion for a long time. He hasn't fought since February 2020, when he defended his
title against Dominick Reyes in a controversial but successful match at UFC 247. He later gave up the belt to try to move up to the heavyweight division.
Jones has never lost in MMA, but he was disqualified from a fight he was winning against Matt Hamill in December 2009.
He's getting ready for a new chapter at heavyweight, but he hasn't been in the octagon in 31 months, and there's no date set for his return. Jones
defended his 205 title eight times in a row, but he has lost momentum many times because of legal problems and failed drug tests.
Even though Jones has had a lot of problems outside of the ring, Rogan, who has been a UFC commentator for a long time, thinks that Jones will get back on top.
Rogan said of Jones on a recent episode of his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" that he might have the highest fight IQ ever, right up there with "Mighty Mouse" (Demetrious Johnson).
