Why Kate Middleton is using Princess
When King Charles III took the throne, Kate Middleton became Princess of Wales.
Since Princess Diana died in 1997, she is the first person to use the title since then.
Even though Camilla was the new Queen Consort, she never used the title.
When Prince William took the throne this month, he got the title of Prince of Wales from King Charles. Kate Middleton got the title of Princess
of Wales from King Charles. During his first speech as king on September 9, the king said of William, "Today I am proud to make him Prince of Wales."
"With Catherine by his side, I know that our new Prince and Princess of Wales will continue to inspire and lead our national conversations,
bringing the marginalised to the centre where they can get important help," Charles said.
