In the new trailer for the series, Netflix's version of Wednesday Addams is shown to be the best transfer student ever.
Wednesday looks like it could be a treat on Netflix. Even though Morticia and Gomez Addams' daughter is known for being grumpy,
the first trailer for Tim Burton's upcoming Netflix comedy Wednesday shows that the grumpy teen has always been a social butterfly.
Even though the people Wednesday Addams chooses to hang out with might not like her idea of fun, that doesn't mean she isn't trying to, you know, connect with them.
In the first trailer for Wednesday, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) is being kicked out of yet another "normal" school for scaring her classmates.
Neither her mother (Catherine Zeta-Jones) nor her father (Luis Guzman) are surprised by this news. But Wednesday's parents know that
she's just being herself and trying to protect her brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez). They also know that if their daughter is ever going to get a good education,
she'll need a school that understands her unique needs. From the trailer, it's clear that Wednesday would do much better at Nevermore Academy,
a strange school run by Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie) where classes are about deadly duels and creatures from other worlds.
But it's harder to say if the rest of Nevermore's students will be ready for the chaos that its newest student, Wednesday,
will bring to the school when it comes out this fall on Netflix.
