Tommy Lee's fans were shocked when he posted a full-frontal NSFW photo on Instagram.

On Thursday, the drummer for Motley Crue shared the post on his page (August 11)). In the selfie, he is naked all the way down to his penis.

The drummer for Motley Crüe, Tommy Lee, has caused jaws to drop all over the world with a very revealing Instagram post.

The 59-year-old posted a photo of himself rocking out with his, um, private parts out on Thursday, shocking his 1.4 million followers and

giving social media censors something to do (though at the time of writing, the post was still up).   Lee's caption said, "Oooooppss."

Instagram has a strict rule against showing skin. Lee has never been afraid to let it all hang out. He once did a sex tape while driving with Pamela Anderson.

People and famous people took notice of his most recent post right away. Comedian Ryan Sickler asked, "Does the camera make you gain 5 pounds?"

"OH MY GOD," said Brittany Furlan, a fellow comedian. The most impressed person was Machine Gun Kelly's drummer, Rook, who said, "I'M F****N DYING!"

And Daniel Mac, who makes videos for TikTok, said the funniest double entendre when he asked, "How long will this stay up?"

In a second post, Lee showed a picture of an elephant talking to a naked man. The elephant was asking the man, "How do you breathe through that little thing?"

"Go to sleep, bro," was one of the more direct comments on that post. In the 1980s, when his band was at its peak, the famous drummer was known for sleeping with groupies,

taking drugs like a hero, and swallowing small light bulbs just for fun.   In June, when he went back on stage with broken ribs, the news was all about him.

Even though the famous drummer only made it through five songs of the band's much-anticipated reunion tour's first stop in Atlanta, Georgia, that was five more songs than his doctor told him to play.

In typical Lee fashion, the musician didn't listen to the doctor's advice and played on the opening night of the band's tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
