Raju Srivastava was taken to the hospital on August 10, 2022, after he had a heart attack. 

Hospital sources said on Friday that popular comedian and actor Raju Srivastava is still on a ventilator in the intensive care unit of AIIMS in New Delhi, and his condition has not gotten better.

The 58-year-old stand-up comedian had a heart attack on Wednesday and was taken to the hospital. He had an angioplasty the same day.

The comedian is being cared for by Dr. Nitish Naik, a professor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the department of Cardiology (AIIMS).

Mr. Srivastava's family posted a message on his official Instagram page on Friday night saying that the comedian's condition is "stable."

Raju Srivastava ji's condition is stable. We are praying for him to get better quickly. The doctors are taking care of him and doing the best they can.

In the statement, the family said thanks to everyone who has continued to love and support us. 

The family also asked that people "ignore any rumours or fake news that are going around." The comedian had a heart attack while working out in a New Delhi hotel gym.

After a comedy show, she became famous. Since the late 1980s, Mr. Srivastava has worked in the entertainment business.

In 2005, he got noticed after taking part in the first season of the stand-up comedy show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge."

He has been in Hindi movies like "Maine Pyar Kiya," "Baazigar," "Bombay to Goa" (a remake), and "Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya." He was one of the people who tried out for the third season of "Bigg Boss."

Mr. Srivastava is also the head of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council.
