Olivia Cooke Says She Was Hungover

The actor said that even though she got drunk the night before her first day of filming for HBO's "Game of Thrones" prequel, it was "worth it" in the end.

Olivia Cooke is talking about how drunk she got the night before her first day of filming "House of the Dragon," the HBO prequel to "Game of Thrones."

The 28-year-old actress said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday that she had a terrible hangover on her first day on set.

"I was very drunk," she told Kimmel before her first appearance on the show this Sunday. "It was really bad. "Terrible."

Cooke, who plays Queen Alicent in the fantasy show, told him that she broke a tooth after a night of drinking.

The actor said that it all started the night before, when she was on British comedian Alan Carr's "Life's a Beach" podcast and they had a few too many glasses of wine.

I never do that, but Alan Carr, an English comedian I really like, has a podcast. He asked me to be on the podcast, which made me very happy.
