NFL World Reacts To Jon Gruden Lawsuit News
How the NFL world responds to Jon Gruden's lawsuit A judge turned down
the NFL's request this week to move a lawsuit brought by former head coach Jon Gruden. Soon after, the NFL made the decision to officially appeal the judge's decision.
"The NFL has officially filed an appeal against the decision of a Nevada state court judge who said the NFL couldn't move Jon Gruden's lawsuit to arbitration.
"After arguments in court in May, the state judge didn't give her decision in writing until this week," David Kaplan,
who writes for The Athletic, said. Gruden sued the NFL after his racist, sexist, and homophobic emails were made public in October of last year.
Fans shared their thoughts about the news on social media.
One fan joked, "He couldn't win on the field, so he's going to win in court."
Front Office Sports' A.J. Perez said what could happen next:
If the appeal of Allf's decision stands, the case would move on to discovery,
which means Gruden and the public might be able to see the cache of emails used in the first outside investigation of the Commanders and owner Dan Snyder.
