Loons drop 2 points at home in 1-1 draw with LAFC

Wil Trapp, the captain of the Minnesota Loons, talked on Monday about

how important it is to not take even a second off in the final stretch before the MLS Cup playoffs.

On Tuesday, Trapp's midfield partner, Kervin Arriaga, was not disciplined in his high press at the beginning of the second half.

This gave former MLS MVP Carlos Vela the space he needed to score an equalising goal with his magical left foot in a 1-1 draw at Allainz Field.

After Brent Kallman's header gave Minnesota a 1-0 lead in the first half, the short letdown cost the Loons a win and three points.

Then, in the 45th minute on Tuesday, Brent Kallman got up and headed in Reynoso's corner.
