Lil Nas X is a master at shutting down critics, like when he shut down the angry rapper Boosie Badazz or made fun of people who didn't like his Nike "Satan Shoes."

On Sunday, the star of Industry Baby gave a great response to a group of homophobic protesters who had gathered outside the MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park,

 where he was performing.
Lil Nas X said on Twitter that his team had come up with a tasty way to handle the situation: giving the mob free pizza.

Even though the protesters turned down the offer, Lil Nas X joked on Twitter that at least one of the conservative protesters made him fall in love.

"Update: they didn't want the pizza, but I accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protesters," he wrote next to a video of the interaction.

In the edited clip set to the song "Mystery of Love" by Sufjan Stevens, the camera focuses on the protester wearing a T-shirt that says "Christ's

Forgiveness Ministries Revival," who caught the star's eye. The Long Live Montero Tour will keep going until the last show on November 17 in Barcelona, Spain.

After reposting a video of the flock, the Grammy winner wrote, "Just told my team to send them pizza. This is a really good promotion! "
