Late-Night Hosts Remember Queen Elizabeth II: “A Guiding Light”

Some Thursday night talk show hosts, like James Corden, Trevor Noah, and Jimmy Kimmel, used parts of their shows to talk about the longest-

ruling monarch of the United Kingdom.
On Thursday night, late-night hosts paused their programmes to honour the late Queen Elizabeth II,

II, who passed away at the age of 96. On Thursday, the royal family reported that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away peacefully at Balmoral Castle in Scotland

Charles, her eldest child, will succeed her after seventy-five years of reign. The British host of The Late Late Show stated that although

he was saddened by the news of her passing, he was "also incredibly thankful and grateful to the queen for the most wonderful service and

leadership she has given over all of our lifetimes."
"She is the only queen that the majority of us have ever known,

remarked Corden. We considered her as an everlasting and indispensable component of our world's fabric.
