Lalit Modi, who started the Indian Premier League, has removed the picture of himself with actor Sushmita Sen from his Instagram profile and taken her
name out of his bio. This has led to rumours that the relationship he made public two months ago is over.
Mr. Modi was the first chairman of the Indian Premier League. In July, he talked about his relationship
with the former Miss Universe for the first time and showed pictures from their trip to the Maldives.
Soon after that, he used a picture of himself with Ms. Sen as his profile picture on an app for sharing photos. He also added a line to his bio about her:
"Founder of the Indian Premier League (@iplt20) and finally starting a new life with my crime partner. My heart goes out to @sushmitasen47. "
But on Tuesday morning, his profile picture on Instagram was different, and the sentence about Ms. Sen was taken out of the bio.
This morning, it said, "Founder @iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE-Moon." His profile now has a national flag filter on the picture of him by himself.
Several news stories linked the change to what seemed to be the end of the relationship
So far, neither Mr. Modi nor Ms. Sen have said anything about the rumours.
