But media mogul Lachlan Murdoch spent his Saturday watching the Geelong Cats and Sydney Swans play in the AFL Grand Final.
On Saturday night, Lachlan and his model wife Sarah were seen getting off their private jet in Sydney after going to the game in Melbourne.
Ryan Stokes, the CEO of Seven Group, and his wife Claire, who are friends of the couple, were seen getting off the plane with them.
On the tarmac, the group was seen talking to airport staff with their carry-on bags in hand.
While the men wore black suits, Sarah looked stylish in a black duster coat, black pants, and a leather tote bag. Claire also looked stylish in her
orange coat and jeans, and her white handbag finished off her look.
Murdoch is in Sydney at the same time that he is going to court against an Australian news website that is on the left.
Murdoch says that an article on the website Crikey made false and slanderous claims that he and Donald Trump worked together to overthrow the U.S. government.
In a defamation lawsuit filed in the Federal Court, Mr. Murdoch is suing over an opinion piece written by politics editor Bernard Keane on June
29 about hearings into Trump and the January 6 Capitol riots. In the article, which was widely shared on social media, Keane called the former U.S
