MONTHS AFTER THE WRESTLEMANIA MATCH, JOHNNY KNOXVILLE STILL TROLLS A WWE STAR. The storyline between "Jackass"
star Johnny Knoxville and former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn may have ended in the ring at WWE WrestleMania 38, but that doesn't mean Knoxville is done teasing Zayn.
Even though he is no longer in WWE, the famous actor still makes fun of his rival in the comments section of Instagram posts. When Zayn posted a picture of
himself at a restaurant on Instagram and said he was "a bit of a foodie," Knoxville showed up in the comments.
Knoxville said, "You're kind of a foodie, but you're kind of a s*** waffle." Zayn did respond, saying,
"I can't even talk about enjoying a nice meal without this psycho stalker bothering me!" Zayn and Knoxville started fighting before the WWE Royal Rumble event at the beginning of the year, and
it all came to a head when they wrestled each other at WrestleMania. Both men put a lot of effort into the plot. Zayn crashed the "Jackass Forever" red carpet premiere and was kicked out.
Knoxville paid for a banner with Zayn's phone number to be flown across the sky by a plane, which led to Zayn getting a lot of calls.
The clever plot led to an equally clever "Anything Goes" match, in which many of the "Jackass" cast and characters, like Party Boy and Wee Man,
showed up, and the match ended with a giant mousetrap. Fans and people in the business both liked it, and Zayn has since said it was one of his favourite matches of all time.
