Gold price in Pakistan today

For the third day in a row, the price of gold in Pakistan went up as well, and for the fourth day in a row, it kept going up.

The All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA) says that the price of gold went up by Rs1,300 per tola

and Rs1,115 per 10 grammes on Saturday, making it Rs153,000 per tola and Rs131,173 per 10 grammes.

Gold prices are going up because the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar keeps going down, and inflation in the country is going up and up.

In the interbank market, the rupee has lost more than 10% of its value against the US dollar since July 1, 2022. It is now worth Rs. 228.18 per US dollar.

On the international market, the price of an ounce of gold went down by $4, making it worth $1,717.

The price of gold in Pakistan is about Rs 4,000 less than what it costs on the Dubai market.
