Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - Review

In Cyberpunk 2077, a five-minute cutscene showed how V moved up in the criminal world.

In Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, David Martinez goes bad over the course of about five episodes.

This gives Studio Trigger and creator Rafa Jaki time to explore Night City and the broken dreams of its people in an exciting 10-

episode series that makes a strong case that CDPR might have something solid to build on for future Cyberpunk stories.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a spinoff of CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077. This means that it takes place in the same world as Mike Pondsmith's famous tabletop RPG.

The places and designs are the same as those in the video game, but the story is about a different group of people.

In short, V or Johnny Silverhand won't be in the anime.
