Colombian Film Wins San Sebastian

The top prize at the 70th San Sebastián film festival in Spain went to the Colombian movie

The top prize at the 70th San Sebastián film festival in Spain went to the Colombian movie "Los Reyes del Mundo" (The Kings of the World).

At a ceremony on Saturday night, the Golden Shell for best film went to Laura Mora's film.

In the movie, five young men from Medelln, the second largest city in Colombia, try to get ahead in life.

Genki Kawamura of Japan won the best director award for his movie

Hyakka," which is about a son and his mother, who has dementia.

Carla Qulez, who played a mother in the Spanish film "La Materna,"

and Paul Kircher, who played a boy in the French film "Le Lycéen" ("Winter Boy"), won the top acting awards for their first leading roles.

With her first movie, "Runner," American director Marian Mathias won the special jury prize.
