Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh, said that her government will start a new national curriculum next year.

The goal is to teach Bangladeshi children to be global citizens so that they are ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution.  

"We can't wait to teach our kids to be true global citizens. She said that next year we'll have a new national curriculum.

The prime minister said, "The new curriculum will prepare our students for the Fourth Industrial Revolution" in a video recording

of a national statement that was shown at the UN secretary general's Transforming Education Summit on Monday.

She also said that it would teach them how to adapt to climate change and make them the real agents

of her country's "Vision 2041" plan to become a developed, knowledge-based economy.
