Demaryius Thomas died from seizure complications, autopsy says
The man's sudden death was looked into by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. Thomas was 33 when he was found dead in his home in Roswell,
New Mexico, in December 2021. It's not clear if Thomas' neurological problems are caused by head injuries from football.

The brain of Thomas was given to the Boston University CTE Center by his family. In a statement, researchers from Boston University said that
they found signs of a disease in Thomas' brain. This disease is sometimes found in the brain tissue of former NFL players. Researchers did not find a link between C.T.E.
Thomas's other health problems, though. About six months after he said he was leaving professional football, Thomas died.
Thomas went to high school in Dexter and then went to Georgia Tech. Before the Denver Broncos picked him in the first round of the 2010 draught,
he played football for three years with the Yellow Jackets. He was in the NFL for 10 years,
most of them in Denver, where he helped the Broncos win Super Bowl 50.
