Apple Music Replaces Pepsi as Sponsor
Apple Music will replace Pepsi as the main sponsor of the NFL's Super Bowl halftime show, which usually has one of the largest TV audiences of the year.
Apple's vice president of Apple Music and Beats, Oliver Schusser, said in a prepared statement, "Music and sports hold a special place in our hearts,
so we're very excited that Apple Music will be a part of music and football's biggest stage." "We're looking forward to even more epic performances
at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show next year and in the years to come." The NFL says
that more than 120 million people watched the Super Bowl LVI halftime show. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar
all performed at the extravaganza. It was the first time that these five artists all performed on stage together. Under Pepsi, artists like The Weeknd
, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Bruno Mars have also performed at halftime.
