60 Minutes Australia was criticised after showing a trailer for an interview with Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline that was called "disgusting" and "invasive."

60 Minutes People have said that Australia made a mistake by showing a "gross" and "intrusive" trailer for an interview with Keven Federline.

Channel 9 said that they had gotten an exclusive interview with Britney Spears' ex-husband and their two kids, Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, which will air on Sunday.

But many of her fans have spoken out against it, saying that the channel is "trying to profit" from the 40-year-old pop star's well-known problems.

In the interview, Federline talked about how he didn't help his ex-fighting wife end her guardianship in front of the public.

The 44-year-old former backup dancer said he didn't help her end the arrangement in the end because he was too busy raising their two sons.

The teaser doesn't explain why he thought the two choices were incompatible. He had said before that his sons didn't go to her wedding to Sam Asghari and hadn't seen her in months.

He said this was partly because she posted half-naked photos of herself on Instagram after her guardianship ended.

Fans, on the other hand, have criticised the channel for giving Federline a platform after he posted a series of videos of their young sons fighting with their mother.

"It's really embarrassing that you do all this to start fights and make money. "SHAME," one person wrote.
