Top-Rated Kitchen Gadgets Reviews

Hi guys, welcome back to my website. In today’s article, I’m going to be testing out some viral
and some top-rated Amazon kitchen gadgets. So you guys know that I love to cook on this
website. I make lots of meal prep articles and a few of these gadgets caught my eyes, so
I thought I would do a little bit more research and see what other top-rated gadgets there
are on Amazon. Some of these look really, really good. Some of these I’m pretty sure
are just not going to work and are useless, but I thought I would test them out for you

I have 10 in total, and I hope you really enjoy this article. If you do, give it a big
thumbs up and if you’re new around here, please subscribe. I post so much content on here
to do the cooking, cleaning, and life and I would love to have you as a viewer.
So the first kitchen gadget that I wanted to test out is this herb mincer. It is from
Kitchendao. It was (price maybe change when you buy) and it comes in a little box like this. But then when you get

it out you don’t have to build it, all you have to do is press in the two buttons and
then all of the blades just slide down that. So this little gadget is supposed to do a
couple of things. It minces and chops herbs, but it will also slide the herbs off of the
stocks. It will almost take the leaves off. So I think I’m going to try that out first.
I’ve got some coriander here, but it’s supposed to work on mint and rosemary as well. So you
would just take the stalk-like that, and then pull it through. Oh, that didn’t work very

Best Viral Kitchen Gadgets

well. Oh I think I’ll just use the bigger one maybe. Oh, it has not really worked. Maybe
it works better on rosemary, but it’s not actually working that well on coriander. But
I suppose you would actually chop up the stalks.
So let’s see if it even chops very well. So all you have to do is slide it across it all.
I mean that is crazy. It smells really good. So it does actually mince up the herbs really
easily. Now I’m going to see what it’s like to clean. When you want to clean it, all you
have to do is just press in and it opens up like this, and then all you have to do is

rinse it. I think you can actually put it in the dishwasher as well. So there you have
it. It did mince the herbs really well, and I like that the blades just fold away like
this. So it’s safe with my children around. But I guess it depends on how many herbs you
actually mince and how often you’re going to use it. Some people in the reviews on Amazon
grow their own mint and they said that they use it all the time. So I don’t know, for
10.99 I’m not sure. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Next step, I’m going to be trying out this stem gem strawberry huller. Now this has over
4,200 reviews on Amazon, all of which are four and a half stars and above. And it says
it quickly removes cores. I didn’t actually realize that strawberries had cores. And to
be honest, when I ever take off the leaves off the strawberries, I’ll either just cut
it off or I’ll use a straw. To use this thing there is a button that you press, and these

little blades pop up, and then you put it around, kind of insert it to the top of the
strawberry, like this. And then I think you push down and let go of the button and then
pull up. Oh, that’s not worked. Oh, done.
I wonder if you twist it around.
Oh yeah. Oh, that does work. Look, that’s so cool. Oh, I think you do actually cut off
less than when you cut it. But let’s again. So you go in. Oh, I do, I get it
now. I really like it. And then to just get rid of the core, you just go, that’s it.

strawberry Gadgets

So this is (price maybe change when you buy) pounds, it does work so well. In the past, this is how I would hull a strawberry,
and it’s a little hack of mine. So you’d put the straw just through like that, and then
it just pops out the top and you just literally get, obviously you go through the whole strawberry,
but you literally just get the green bit off. So that is also quite a good hack and actually
saves even more strawberry than this little hollow thing did. But that is quite quick
and easy as well. I don’t know. Let me know what you think.

So next up I’m going to be testing out a vital kitchen gadget, which is some onion goggles.
So this is supposed to be good if you cry when you’re cutting onions. I don’t struggle
that much with this, but Matt my husband can not even be in the same room when I’m cutting
onions because it affects his eyes so much. It also said on the ad when I bought it that
they are windproof and I don’t know why you’d need that in an onion goggle, but I’m going
to test them out today. They do feel quite stuck around the eyes. So fun I’m in here,

so let’s chop it up.
I do obviously get teary-eyed when I’m making a big chili and I need to cut up three onions.
Then I do get the teary eyes. So, so far I’m not feeling it and I’m going in over here
a bit guys. To be honest, I think you could just steal your kid’s swimming goggles and
it might do the same thing. So you might not need to invest. These were (price maybe change when you buy) pounds. But
yeah, they are really, really working. I think the test would be to get Matt to try them.
I can feel it hitting my face.

Can you?
I can smell it.
Does that make your eyes go funny, the smell?
It’s actually okay.
It is, right?
It’s steaming up a little bit. The moment my eyes got a bit funny I go like this.
I see. You’re fine, aren’t you? Good.
Yeah, I get emotional.

So there you have it. They actually work. They’re also really, really stylish and I
think that they would be a perfect novelty gift if you have someone in your life that
really struggles to cut onions. So all over,I actually really them. Next up I’m going
to be testing out the Any Sharp knife sharpener. Now this is (price maybe change when you buy) and it has over
13,000 ratings on Amazon and 75% of those are five stars. So I’m really excited to try
this out and we actually need this. We weregifted some really nice expensive knives at
Christmas by my mom. But I have not actuallyever sharpened them.

So the good thing about this, it has a powerful grip. So you basically put it onto a clean,
dry surface like this, and then it has this little lever here which you pull down and
it really suctions to the side. You can not move it at all, that I’m trying with all of
my weight to move it. So it won’t move around when you’re sharpening your knives, there’s
nothing you have to hold and that you could potentially cut yourself. So once it’s securely
on it, then you literally just, just that. Oh, the sound is horrible though. Is that it?

Kitchen Gadgets

Once you’ve sharpened your knives, it says to pull it through three or four times, but
I actually did it 10 because they were so very blunt. But once you’ve actually sharpened
them, then all you do to take it off is just pull the lever up and then there’s a little
the arrow here, which you can just pull up and it pops off.

You can see all the little bits of metal from the knives themselves and they do look a lot sharper.
So there you have it, apparently the world’s best knife sharpener and it was super simple
to use. I really liked it. It will definitely encourage me to sharpen my knives more often,
so this one gets a big thumbs up.

Another weird viral kitchen hack is this novelty crumb vacuum. You can get them in all kinds
of different characters. There was a pig, an elephant, a cat, a sheep, and a dog. But
I got the cow because it was on prime. Sothis was (price maybe change when you buy) pounds and is literally just
a little vacuum for your surface. So you have an off switch there, and then it sucks
up the nose. Yeah, in the nose, and that’s. So I guess obviously when my kids make

their own toast, there is a big mass. Whenever we do anything with sprinkles, they go everywhere.
this is rather than wiping it away, you can use this little thing.
So I’ve got the little tray out of our toaster with all the crumbs on it. I’m going to
test it out now. Just put some on the surface and then I thought, oh that’s quite a big

I thought I would also do some of the sprinkles. Because whenever we do, like decorating
with the cookies and stuff, literally they go everywhere, and then they’re on the floor
and they’re a bit of a pain, to be honest. So, let’s see if this little guy can cope
with this. And then when you’re done, to get the crumbs out again, there’s a little button
on here and then her head comes out. You just take it off and you go to the bin and empty
it. There you have it. This is definitely a novelty gadget, I think wiping it into the
sink is a lot quicker. But my kids loved playing with this and it is quite fun.

Next up I’m going to be testing out the top-rated jar openers. These are from Chef Rennie.
They were (?). They had over 600 ratings, and all really, really positive. And I’ve
always joked that I needed these because I struggle to open up any jars. I’ll end up
mostly getting Matt to do it or running it under hot water or slamming it on the side
until I can actually open it. I’m going to test it out on a few different jars today.

So the first thing you have to do is just work out which circle it would go onto. So
I think this one is going to be the second biggest, and so yeah, that one works. Okay,
now let’s try it out. My Coleman’s mustard, so I don’t know whether it’s going to be this
one. I think that will work.

Okay. And then let’s test out my smooth almond butter, so I think again, it’s going to be
that second biggest one. There you have it. It definitely does work. There is some effort
required though that I thought it might just be like, ta-da. But you do have to put a little
bit of oomph into it, but I don’t think that I would have been able to open a jar like
this without something like that. So it does definitely work.

The next gadget I’m going to try is a space-saving storage gadget. So it’s a little hook
for mugs that goes into your shelf like this and then you can hang your extra mugs on this.
I’m interested to try it out because sometimes we have so many that I actually stack them.
So I’m going to test it out in my cupboard today. Yeah, so I like it. It’s a good little
space saver. What you should definitely do though is it comes with a little hook and
a nail and you are supposed to fasten it so that this is a little bit more secure.

We’re about to move house so I’m not going to do that. But I like it, especially if you are
short on space.
The next gadget I’m going to be trying is the most expensive one. It is a Crock-Pot
Multi-Cooker and I kind of bought it becauseI’ve wanted this for so very long. You know
I love to use my slow cooker and the one that I have, I’ve actually had for over 15 years.
And a good one like a Crock-Pot should last a very long time. So this was (price maybe change when you buy) pounds and

it does so many things. It’s not only a slow cooker but you can bake in it, you can steam
in it, you can sear and you can saute. The main thing that appealed to me with this
is that there are so many slow cooker recipes where they ask you to brown the chicken, brown
the sausages, brown the onions before you turn on the slow cooker.

And you can actually brown the food in this because it has a hot plate or a pan in it.
And then you can then turn it into a slow cooker. So I’m going to test that feature
out today, but in the future, I will be trying out how you even bake in it and stuff like
that. But let’s see if it’s any good. So this is it here, I think it looks quite nice. When
you open it up, it comes with a little measuring cup. It also comes with a roasting tray. So
you can either steam or roast on this, like if you’re going to do salmon or fish. And

then you can turn it around this way if you wanted to roast a big chicken, which I will
often do in the slow cooker.
But today as I said, I’m going to test out actually browning the food in there and then
making it into a slow cooker. So you can see here it has a browning setting. Slow cooker,
roasting, baking, and sauteing or steaming as well. You could choose the temperature and
time. So I’m going to press high on … Do I press that now? Okay, so it’s preheating
now. Ooh, I like it. So I can stuff in the onions. Now everything is nice and browned and I added
spices and it’s smelling really good. So I’ve turned it off now and I’m going to switch

Amazon Best Product

it to slow cooker and I can then choose how long I want to, I’m going to have it on low
heat for five hours and I can just chuck everything else in now. My veggie chilly is all in and
I’ve really enjoyed using it. I love the look of it. It was simple to work out and it also
feels really light like it will be easy to clean. So yeah, I like this one.

So the next kitchen gadget is one I really like the look of. It’s like a rainbow wine
bottle, but it’s actually called the KitchenTool Bottle and it does eight different things.
So the top of the wine bottle here actually comes off and then there’s a little bit on
the top, which then turns around, and now you can use this bit as a funnel if you ever need
one. Then the next layer down is for juicing lemons and limes, oranges, stuff like that.

The next one is a little handy separator if you ever need to separate your egg whites
from your yolks. Then there is a little egg masher if you’re making egg salad sandwiches
or something. A little grater for ginger and a little grater for cheese. And then there
is also something to help you open jars because it’s just a bit sticky.

Different Measurement

And then at the very bottom is also a measuring cup. So it has different measurements on it
here. So I’m going to test a few of these out now, but just from the get-go, I think
this would be a really nice housewarming gift or if someone was going off to uni and they
needed a few little bits for their kitchen. This was less than (price maybe change when you buy) pounds and it has
some really good reviews on it. So then when I test out this little juicer here. So with
the top at there, you would then just put it onto the measuring bit and then juice into
that. So the juicer layer worked exactly as it should have.

I’m now going to try the yolk and egg white separator just to see how it works. So let’s
see how simple it is. Yeah, that works pretty well. And let’s also test out the cheese grater
attachment as well. I feel this might be more for Parmesan cheese or a really hard cheese
over pasta and stuff. But yeah, definitely works. And I know there’s also an attachment
for ginger or horseradish, et cetera. I actually really like the kitchen to a bottle. I was
expecting it to be very gimmicky, but all of the sections really work. It’s practical.

Bake Pancakes

It also looks great. It’s very Instagrammable. So this one gets a big thumbs up from me.
It’s also quite low in price and I think it would be a lovely, lovely gift. So yes, that’s
a win for me.
Next up I’m going to be testing out this blender bottle. Now, this is for pancakes and you guys
know that I love to bake pancakes at least once a week in this house. But in this, there’s
a little ball that acts as a whisk. You can put all of the ingredients into this, shake

it up, and then it also has a little nozzle on the top so that you can easily make your
pancakes. I’m going to test it out today. I’m a little bit skeptical because it’s (price maybe change when you buy)
pounds. But it’s got really good reviews on Amazon, over a thousand good reviews. So
let’s see what it’s like.

So it comes like this and it has a squeezy bit on the top and then you turn it around
and it has a wide opening at the bottom so you can put all of your ingredients into this
bit. There’s also a measurement so you can actually measure your ingredients. And this
little whisk ball goes in there. So I’m just going to put in my favorite pancake batter,
like flour. That can go in. Then I’m going to add in some milk and also an egg.

Oh, it does stand, okay. Put this back on and shake it up. So I got my batter and today I’m actually
going to test this out in my waffle maker. Because I find that more difficult to pour
batter into. So let’s see how it turns out.
My waffles turned out pretty good. There are few things I don’t like about this, and
a few things I do like. I like the nozzle on top. I liked that it was quite easy to

Expensive Products

But it’s really difficult when you’re making the batter. You can’t actually see
how thick it is. If you want to add in a bit more of anything you don’t like … You’d
have to have the perfect recipe to use this thing. Also at (price maybe change when you buy) pounds, I think it’s actually
so expensive and I don’t really see how it’s that much better than a bowl and a whisk.
So for me, this one is thumbs down.

The next product that I’m going to be testing out is the OXO Good Grips can opener. Now,
this product doesn’t really excite me but I had to review it because on Amazon it has
nearly 5,000 ratings, all of which are nearly five stars. And some of the ratings when you
read them, people are really passionate about this. They’re like, “It’s life-changing, it’s
amazing.” And it is (price maybe change when you buy) pounds, it’s quite expensive. So let’s see if it’s any good.

I haven’t tested it out before. And to be honest, a lot of can nowadays have the pully
things anyway. But one thing that normally doesn’t is the coconut milk that we put into
our curries. So I’m going to try and open up one of those cans. So opens right up. I’m
just going to put the little thing there, push the lid. And then, I mean it is quite
soft. It feels the same as the one that we already have, do you know what I mean?

Top-Rated Kitchen Gadgets

I don’t know what is so special about it? The can opener does work, but my life is not
completely changed. I feel the can opener have already is quite similar to this one,
but it is a non-slip, easy-to-use works. Right, so it’s it for this article. I really
hope you enjoyed testing out these kitchen gadgets with me. Let me know in the comments
if you have any of these gadgets or which one was your favorite. And the links as always
