Supreme Court to deliver the verdict at 12 pm Monday

After hearing from all sides on Friday, Kenya’s Chief Justice Martha Koome said that the decision would be made on Monday.

“We’ll let you know the exact time that will be done closer to that day,” CJ Koome said.

The seven Supreme Court judges, Chief Justice Martha Koome, Deputy CJ Philomena Mwilu, Justice Dr. Smokin Wanjala, Justice Mohamed Ibrahim, Justice Njoki Ndungu, Justice Isaac Lenaola, and Justice William Ouko, are expected to make their own decisions and read them aloud.

Raila, who was represented by Senior Counsel James Orengo, Senior Counsel Paul Mwangi, Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, and Lawyer Julie Soweto, wants the Supreme Court to throw out the election of Deputy President William Ruto as President-elect, saying that the whole thing was rigged.
