Street Fighter 6 Director Shares Character Concept Art

Takayuki Nakayama, the director of Street Fighter 6, likes to give sneak peeks at both old and new Capcom art. He has shared a few pieces of concept art for the next Street Fighter game on Twitter.

There are a few sketches for each of the five pictures. Jamie, one of the four characters shown, has two pictures all to himself.

Even though Tekken 8 is suddenly giving it a lot of competition, Street Fighter 6 is still one of the most beautiful fighting games out there right now. Most of what we’ve seen so far has worked well with the switch from making characters look like cartoons to making them look a bit more like real people.

The four characters for whom we now have concept art are Jamie, Luke, Kimberly, and Juri, a sadistic seductress.

Most of these characters have turned out exactly as they look in these early sketches. However, we do get to see some different takes, like when Luke takes off his blue jacket and when Juri’s model is shown without all of her accessories.

Whose visual design do you like best?

You can see all of them in the full gallery that follows. We’re looking forward to seeing more of the same from the other 14 characters on the launch roster, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear what you think of these. So far, whose visual design do you like best?
