Epic has to cycle through all of the items, weapons, and vehicles in Fortnite so that we can use them all. Junk rifts were opened earlier this week to add a little more chaos to matches. For four days, we’ve got a surprise weekend update that brings back the fan-favorite UFO vehicle. As part of the game’s Flying Objects Weekend, which lasts until Monday, August 15, you can find these flying vehicles all over the map. Let’s take a look at where to find them and what they do.
How to get UFOs in Fortnite and where you can find them.
Flying Saucers, also known as “UFOs,” has five seats, so you can bring your whole team along. They come with a 400-second battery, which gives you plenty of time to move around. When not in use, the battery can be charged. We’ve put together a list of the six places on the map where you can find them.
UFOs can go up and down as they fly across the map, and they have a function that speeds them up. This makes them a fun and useful choice for squads that want to move without having to worry about obstacles on the ground. But it’s important to remember that using the vehicles makes you very easy to spot, so be aware of your surroundings and expect to be with other people.
UFOs can also shoot energy blasts that hurt people by 30 points and buildings by 450 points. Even though the damage to enemies seems low, remember that the blast also moves them. Because of this, it can be a great way to blast people off of buildings or hills so that they die from the damage they take when they fall.
One of the most interesting things about the vehicles is that they can pick up items and players below them. You can pick up big things and drop them on other players to do a lot of damage, or you can kidnap an enemy and take them away from their team so that your team can do a lot of damage to them. You can even take a fallen teammate with you to get them out of harm’s way so you can revive them quickly while hiding.
