George Clooney and Amal made a ‘bad mistake’ by teaching their children Italian.

Alexander and Ella, who are 5 years old, are the twin children of a 61-year-old actor and a 44-year-old lawyer.
George Clooney said that he and his wife, Amal, are sorry that their twins, Alexander and Ella, who are now 5, are learning a foreign language.

During an appearance on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, host Gayle King asked the 61-year-old actor and the 44-year-old lawyer what they liked best about their children. The actor said, “At five, they are very talkative.”

The Academy Award winner said, “We’ve made a terrible mistake.” “They learned Italian from us.”
He added, “But we don’t speak Italian.” “So we gave them a language to use against us.”

“I WANT MY WIFE TO HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR ME,” says George Clooney about why he won’t let Amal watch “Batman & Robin.”

“And neither of us really knows what they’re saying,” George said, adding that their children also speak French.

“I’m from Kentucky,” the “Ocean’s Eleven” star joked. “English is my second language.”

Amal said that their son Alexander is “a big prankster” like his father, who was the same way.

She told her husband, “You taught him all these lessons, and now he’s teaching his dad lessons back!”
George said that Alexander told him that Batman was his favorite hero.
And I said, “You know, I used to play Batman.” And he said, “Yeah, but not anymore,” he said with a laugh.

“If he only knew how true that was,” George said as a joke.
In Joel Schumacher’s superhero action-adventure movie “Batman & Robin” from 1997, the actor played Batman/Bruce Wayne. Most critics didn’t like the movie, and it didn’t do well at the box office.

At the opening of the Roybal School of Film and Television Production Magnet in downtown Los Angeles on September 14, the “Syriana” star joked about his children’s language skills compared to his own. He was asked by Entertainment Tonight how he would feel if the twins went into the arts.

George said, “They can do whatever they want. I think they’re smarter than me, so they’ll probably do something. ” They already speak three languages, so I’m still working on English. ” George and Amal, who got married in 2014 and had their first child in 2017, went on “CBS Mornings” to talk about their new awards ceremony, the first-ever Albie Awards, given by the Clooney Foundation for Justice.

The awards show, which will be held at the New York Public Library on Sept. 29, will honor people who fight for global justice.
