Halo Boss Bonnie Ross Leaves 343 Studios

Bonnie Ross, the founder and head of 343 Industries, has said that she is leaving the studio. Ross says in a statement on Twitter, “I had hoped to stay with Halo until we released the Winter Update, but I will be leaving 343 to deal with a family health issue.”

She says, “Everyone at 343 Industries has done an amazing job with Halo Infinite, the Master Chief Collection, the Halo TV series, and so much more. I’m proud to have worked with the team for the past 15 years and to be a part of a universe I love.”

Microsoft told Windows Central that Pierre Hintze, who is in charge of production, will replace Ross as studio head right away. He will be in charge of making sure that Halo Infinite, The Master Chief Collection, and other games keep getting better. Elizbeth Van Wyck will be in charge of business and operations, and Bryan Koski will be the franchise’s general manager.

Ross has worked at Microsoft for 28 years and has been in charge of 343 Industries for 15 of those years. She has worked on a lot of Halo games, like Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo Infinite.

Halo Infinite Winter update

343 Industries is currently working on the Halo Infinite Winter update, which will come out on November 8 and include the long-awaited Forge Mode and online co-op for the campaign. The split-screen co-op feature has been taken away, which is a shame.
