Amazon is holding its annual hardware event on September 28th

The company will have a hardware event on September 28 at 12 p.m. ET, the company said today. The invitation the store sent to Engadget didn’t have many details. It just said that news about “our latest Amazon devices, features, and services” would be shared. The event will take place exactly one year before the hardware show in 2021.

Last year’s event was full of weird products, but the show-stopper was Astro, the company’s Alexa-powered robot on wheels. The Echo Show 15 and Glow, a teleconferencing device for kids, were also big hits. The Halo View fitness band and the Ring Alarm Pro are two more updates that the company announced. Amazon won’t stream the event, but Engadget will have a lot to say about it.
